Virtual reality Architecture allows for a higher level of design resolution as schemes can be developed and “tested” at the early design stage. This process allows for a more active understanding of our designs from the outset, allowing greater participation during the design process.

As Olivier Demangel states in his recent article in Dezeen on the subject of Virtual Reality Architecture:

…architects in future will use virtual reality from the beginning of the design process, which will enable them to digitally inhabit their designs and make changes on the fly.
“You’re going to walk inside your project and you’re going to say: ‘Maybe this bit is not right, I’ll need to change it. Maybe this material is not the right material, I’ll need to change that as well.'”
